7th Day of Unleavened Bread

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

Shabbat Shalom Family,

As some of you know I am here in Israel searching out and talking to those who live here in our Homeland about what we are trying to do about creating this farm for the brethren to come back to. I am also talking to some about the grave danger that Jerusalem is now entering, in light of what has happened in Egypt and Libya and many other Middle East Arab nations.

And now I see that Ethiopia is beginning to have its problems too just as Prophecy says they would. See the article at http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/04/21/us-ethiopia-eritrea-idUSTRE73K3OM20110421

So the urgency for all of us to start to think a little harder is coming even closer just as the tsunami in the video I shared with last week showed you. We all have a duty to tell others the closeness of the time. And this is also one of the reasons I have come here and met with the people I have this Passover season.

But many of those who want to help here are also struggling too just to make ends meet, the same as many of you are. These brethren also need you prayers and I need your prayers so that Yehovah will provide that miracle and those miracles for this farm if it is His will is to come about. Time is fast passing and with each day the urgency grows more.

I do not have time at present to tell you what one politician has shared with me about how he sees Ephraimites coming home. And I did not see it the way he did until he told me. But this politician told me that a persecution of both peoples of the book, the Jews and the Christians was about to begin in the USA. That is after 2012 when President Obama is again reelected.

There are a number of people here working to help bring Ephraim home but brethren they need your help to do so.

I have been so blessed to meet so many of them on this trip and more later this week. And yet many of them are in financial trouble. The cost of food is going up and cost of doing business is going up and just living is costing more as well as taxes going up and all of this with less and less work available and the ever growing knowledge of a coming war. Many of these families have children who serve in the IDF.

Please pray for them every day. And if you can help them financially, let me know and I will forward it on to those who also share it with others they know who need help.

I have also seen how so many Ministries misuse and lie to those over here and do not pay their bills or share their facilities and yet they all have huge expensive places here that are not used most of the time and yet they were all paid for by the tithes of the widows and those who could not afford it, who gave under the impression the money was going for the work of the ministry. Yet it went to the housing of the ministry instead. I have been greatly disappointed at what I have seen. These massive houses cost about $5000 a month and no one is there. It is a shame.

For the Holy Day on the Last day of Unleavened Bread these are the Torah readings.

Ex 33:12 – 34:25
Isa 44
Mark 14:12-25

Exo 33:12 And Mosheh said to ????, “See, You are saying to me, ‘Bring up this people.’ But You have not made known to me whom You would send with me, though You have said, ‘I know you by name, and you have also found favour in My eyes.’ 13 “And now, please, if I have found favour in Your eyes, please show me Your way, and let me know You, so that I find favour in Your eyes. And consider that this nation is Your people.” 14 And He said, “My Presence does go, and I shall give you rest.” 15 And he said to Him, “If Your Presence is not going, do not lead us up from here. 16 “For how then shall it be known that I have found favour in Your eyes, I and Your people, except You go with us? Then we shall be distinguished, I and Your people, from all the people who are upon the face of the earth.” 17 And ???? said to Mosheh, “Even this word you have spoken I shall do, for you have found favour in My eyes, and I know you by name.” 18 Then he said, “Please, show me Your esteem.” 19 And He said, “I shall cause all My goodness to pass before you, and I shall proclaim the Name of ???? before you. And I shall favour him whom I favour, and shall have compassion on him whom I have compassion.” 20 But He said, “You are unable to see My face, for no man does see Me and live.” 21 And ???? said, “See, there is a place with Me! And you shall stand on the rock. 22 “And it shall be, while My esteem passes by, that I shall put you in the cleft of the rock and cover you with My hand while I pass by. 23 “Then I shall take away My hand and you shall see My back, but My face shall not be seen.”

Exo 34:1 And ???? said to Mosheh, “Cut two tablets of stone like the first ones, and I shall write on these tablets the Words that were on the first tablets which you broke. 2 “And be ready in the morning. Then you shall come up in the morning to Mount Sinai, and present yourself to Me there on the top of the mountain. 3 “And let no man come up with you, and let no man be seen in all the mountain, and let not even the flock or the herd feed in front of that mountain.” 4 And he cut two tablets of stone like the first ones. Then Mosheh rose early in the morning and went up Mount Sinai, as ???? had commanded him, and he took two tablets of stone in his hand. 5 And ???? came down in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the Name, ????. 6 And ???? passed before him and proclaimed, “????, ????, an ?l compassionate and showing favour, patient, and great in kindness and truth, 7 watching over kindness for thousands, forgiving crookedness and transgression and sin, but by no means leaving unpunished1, visiting the crookedness of the fathers upon the children and the children’s children to the third and the fourth generation.” Footnote: 1This is confirmed in Num. 14:18, and in Jer. 30:11. 8 And Mosheh hurried and bowed himself toward the earth, and did obeisance, 9 and said, “If, now, I have found favour in Your eyes, O ????, I pray, let ???? go on in our midst, even though we are a stiff-necked people. And forgive our crookedness and our sin, and take us as Your inheritance.” 10 And He said, “See, I am making a covenant. Before all your people I am going to do wonders such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation. And all the people among whom you are shall see the work of ????. For what I am doing with you is awesome. 11 “Guard what I command you today. See, I am driving out from before you the Amorite and the Kena?anite and the H?ittite and the Perizzite and the H?iwwite and the Yeb?usite. 12 “Guard yourself, lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land where you are going, lest it be a snare in your midst. 13 “But break down their altars, and smash their pillars, and cut down their Ash?rim – 14 for you do not bow yourselves to another mighty one, for ????, whose Name is jealous, is a jealous ?l – 15 lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they whore after their mighty ones, and slaughter to their mighty ones, and one of them invites you and you eat of his slaughterings, 16 and you take of his daughters for your sons, and his daughters whore after their mighty ones, and make your sons whore after their mighty ones. 17 “Do not make a moulded mighty one for yourselves. 18 “Guard the Festival of Unleavened Bread. For seven days you eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, in the appointed time of the month of Ab?ib?, because in the month of Ab?ib? you came out from Mitsrayim. 19 “Everyone opening the womb is Mine, and every male first-born among your livestock, whether bull or sheep. 20 “But the first-born of a donkey you ransom with a lamb. And if you do not ransom, then you shall break his neck. Every first-born of your sons you shall ransom. And they shall not appear before Me empty-handed. 21 “Six days you work, but on the seventh day you rest – in ploughing time and in harvest you rest. 22 “And perform the Festival of Weeks for yourself, of the first-fruits of wheat harvest, and the Festival of Ingathering at the turn of the year. 23 “Three times in the year all your men are to appear before the Master, ????, the Elohim of Yisra’?l, 24 for I dispossess nations before you, and shall enlarge your borders, and let no one covet your land when you go up to appear before ???? your Elohim three times in the year. 25 “Do not offer the blood of My slaughtering with leaven, and do not let the slaughtering of the Festival of the Passover remain until morning.

Isa 44:1 “But now hear, O Ya?aqob? My servant, and Yisra’?l whom I have chosen. 2 Thus said ???? who made you and formed you from the womb, who helps you, ‘Do not fear, O Ya?aqob? My servant, and Yeshurun1, whom I have chosen. Footnote: 1A poetical title for Yisra’?l, meaning the Straight One or the Upright One. This poetical title is also found in Dt. 32:15, 33:5 & 33:26. 3 ‘For I pour water on the thirsty, and floods on the dry ground. I pour My Spirit on your seed, and My blessing on your offspring, 4 and they shall spring up among the grass like willows by streams of water.’ 5 “One says, ‘I belong to ????; another calls himself by the name of Ya?aqob?; another writes with his hand, ‘Unto ????,’ and names himself by the name of Yisra’?l. 6 “Thus said ????, Sovereign of Yisra’?l, and his Redeemer, ???? of hosts, ‘I am the First and I am the Last, besides Me there is no Elohim. 7 ‘And who is like Me? Let him call and declare it, and lay it before Me, since I appointed the everlasting people. And the events that are coming and those that do come, let them declare these to them. 8 ‘Do not fear, nor be afraid. Have I not since made you hear, and declared it? You are My witnesses. Is there an Eloah besides Me? There is no other Rock, I know not one.’ ” 9 Those who make an idol, all of them are emptiness, and their delights do not profit. And they are their own witnesses; they neither see nor know, so that they are put to shame. 10 Who would form a mighty one or cast an idol that is of no value? 11 See, all his companions are ashamed, and the workmen, they are but men. Let them all be gathered together, let them stand up, let them fear, let them be put to shame, altogether. 12 The craftsman in iron with the tools works one in the coals, and fashions it with hammers, and works it with the strength of his arms. Even so, he shall be hungry, and has no strength; he drinks no water and is weary. 13 The carpenter stretches out his rule, he outlines it with chalk; he fashions it with a plane, and he outlines it with the compass, and makes it like the figure of a man, according to the comeliness of a man, to remain in the house. 14 He cuts down cedars for himself, and takes cypress and oak, which he raised among the trees of the forest. He has planted a pine, and the rain nourishes it. 15 And it shall be for a man to burn, for he takes some of it and warms himself. He also kindles it and shall bake bread. He also makes a mighty one and bows himself to it – has made it a carved image and falls down before it. 16 Half of it he shall burn in the fire; with this half he eats meat. He roasts a roast, and is satisfied. He also warms himself and says, “Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire.” 17 And the rest of it he makes into a mighty one, his carved image. He falls down before it and worships, prays to it and says, “Deliver me, for you are my mighty one.” 18 They do not know nor understand, for He has smeared their eyes from seeing, and their hearts from understanding. 19 And no one recalls it to his heart, nor is there knowledge nor understanding to say, “I have burned half of it in the fire, and I have also baked bread on its coals; I have roasted meat and eaten it. And shall I make the rest of it an abomination? Should I fall down before a log of wood?” 20 Feeding on ashes, a deceived heart turns him aside, and he does not deliver his being, nor says, “Is there not a lie in my right hand?” 21 “Remember these matters, O Ya?aqob?, and Yisra’?l, for you are My servant! I have formed you, you are My servant, O Yisra’?l, do not forget Me! 22 “I shall wipe out your transgressions like a cloud, and your sins like a mist. Return to Me, for I shall redeem you.” 23 Sing, O heavens, for ???? shall do it! Shout, O depths of the earth! Break forth into singing, O mountains, forest, and every tree in it! For ???? shall redeem Ya?aqob?, and make Himself clear in Yisra’?l. 24 Thus said ????, your Redeemer, and He who formed you from the womb, “I am ????, doing all, stretching out the heavens all alone, spreading out the earth, with none beside Me, 25 frustrating the signs of the babblers, and driving diviners mad, turning wise men backward, and making their knowledge foolish, 26 confirming the word of His servant, and completing the counsel of His messengers, who says of Yerushalayim, ‘Be inhabited,’ and of the cities of Yehud?ah, ‘They shall be built, and her ruins raised up by Me,’ 27 who is saying to the deep, ‘Be dry, and your rivers I dry up,’ 28 who is saying of Koresh, ‘He is My shepherd, and he completes all My pleasure, even saying to Yerushalayim, “Let her be built,” and to the H?k?al, “Let her foundation be laid.” ’

Mar 14:12 And on the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they were slaughtering the Passover lamb, His taught ones said to Him, “Where do You wish us to go and prepare, for You to eat the Passover?” 13 And He sent out two of His taught ones and said to them, “Go into the city, and there a man bearing a jar of water shall meet you, follow him. 14 “And wherever he enters, say to the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says, “Where is the guest room in which I am to eat the Passover with My taught ones?” ’ 15 “And he shall show you a large upper room, furnished, ready. Prepare for us there.” 16 And His taught ones went out and came into the city, and found it as He said to them, and they prepared the Passover. 17 And evening having come, He came with the twelve. 18 And as they sat and ate, ????? said, “Truly, I say to you, one of you who is eating with Me shall deliver Me up.” 19 And they began to be grieved, and to say to Him one by one, “Is it I?” And another, “Is it I?” 20 And He answering, said to them, “It is one of the twelve, he who is dipping with Me in the dish. 21 “The Son of Ad?am is indeed going, as it has been written of Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Ad?am is delivered up! It would have been good for that man if he had not been born.” 22 And as they were eating, ????? took bread, having blessed, broke it, gave it to them and said, “Take, eat, this is My body.” 23 And taking the cup, giving thanks, He gave it to them, and they all drank from it. 24 And He said to them, “This is My blood, that of the renewed covenant, which is shed for many. 25 “Truly, I say to you, I shall certainly no more drink of the fruit of the vine till that day when I drink it anew in the reign of Elohim.”

I do not have lessons for you this week but hope to have something on Shabbat. We will see if I had any time to do so.
But it is my belief that on the 7th day of Unleavened Bread that this was the day that Israel crossed the Red Sea and Pharaoh was drowned. I also think this is the torah reading too at this Shabbat. I would urge you also to read this and consider all that Yehovah has done for Israel throughout all of history and how little we have appreciated or thanked Him for what He does for us even today on a daily basis.

Does it not say that in the last days men will be thankless thinking only of themselves.

2Ti 3:1 But know this, that in the last days hard times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of self, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, thankless, wrong-doers, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, haters of good, 4 betrayers, reckless, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of Elohim,5 having a form of reverence1 but denying its power. And turn away from these! Footnote: 1See v. 13, Isa. 24:5-6, Mt. 24:12, Rom. 1:30-31, 2 Thess. 2:3-11.

Those hard times are now here Brethren and these people in the Land who are holding on to it by their fingernails with all they have are doing so, whether they know it or not until Ephraim comes home and helps. You may not be able to come home yet. You may not have thought of it; You may not be ready, but there are people here who are here and who have provided room for many who have come and shared meals with them in their homes.

I won’t tell how many stories I have heard of those who come from the west and visit families and eat and stay many nights and never offer to give for the food or hydro and gas that was used to pick them up or take them to the airport. Everything cost money brethren and the hospitality these brethren are trying to give and even at their own hurt is something that Abraham would be proud of, but far too many of those who come are not so generous with helping them out.

The days of Unleavened Bread are here as an annual reminder that we are to get sin out of our lives and to do so on a daily basis. How do you compare to those things written to Timothy above?

I well leave with that thought as you read Galatians.

Galatians 5:19 And the works of the flesh are well-known, which are these: adultery,1 whoring, uncleanness, indecency, Footnote: 1Only Textus Receptus contains adultery. 20 idolatry, drug sorcery, hatred, quarrels, jealousies, fits of rage, selfish ambitions, dissensions, factions, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, wild parties, and the like – of which I forewarn you, even as I also said before, that those who practice such as these shall not inherit the reign of Elohim.1 Footnote: 11 Cor. 6:10. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, trustworthiness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no Torah. 24 And those who are of Messiah have impaled the flesh with its passions and the desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

May you all have a final Blessed day of Unleavened Bread.
Shalom From Northern and Eastern and Southern Israel
