1ST DAY OF THE 7TH MONTH

Joseph F. Dumond

Isa 6:9-12 And He said, Go, and tell this people, You hear indeed, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back, and be healed. Then I said, Lord, how long? And He answered, Until the cities are wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land laid waste, a desolation, and until Jehovah has moved men far away, and the desolation in the midst of the land is great.

The Ten Days of Awe

In case anyone still doubting whether we are on schedule or a month early this year. I have the following short report from Becca Biderman in Israel. She lives there and is not one of us or one of those who pops in just before we expect the barley to be found. Nor is she one who writes about the seasons of Israel from some romantic point of view as they live in a distant land. No, Becca lives there and is watching the seasons as they come and go. She is watching the plants and the animals by Yehovah’s calendar. We are not a month early. We are right on time. Others might be a month late though.

August 10, 2020.
Fact: The biblical calendar consists of the seven species listed Duet 8:8. (wheat, barley, grapes, figs, pomegranates, olives, and dates) The seven species were the acceptable firstfruits offerings in the temples of Elohim.
According to the seven species we are in the 6th Biblical month. Meaning that the fig harvest has already begun a few weeks back and will soon finish. According to the seven species, the pomegranates will be ready to harvest in less than 2 weeks at the next new moon which will coincide with the first day of the 7th Biblical month.
So the fact that Israel has had rain in Haifa yesterday and rain in my area today only supports what the seven species have already been demonstrating. We are approaching the 7th Biblical month.
If you live in a four-season area of the world you might look around your location and see if you notice changes. I’m reading reports of an early Autumn from many of my FB friends.
Using the seven species as my timing I have planted my garden accordingly this year. It has been an amazing experience. The effort was less and the yield was MUCH higher this year.
I asked Becca for a summary of the 7 species this year and this is what she wrote back to me.
Hi Joe,
The grapes were ready for harvest on the 5th month and the 9th day; they coincide with the destruction of the Temples of Elohim, the figs were ready for harvest exactly one month later and their harvest coincides with the destruction of the upper part of Jerusalem. The pomegranates’ harvest is on Yom Teruah and they are ready now….the ewes are starting to come into heat and the lambs will be born starting at the end of the 11th biblical month (which is 5 months after the ewes going to heat) so there will be lambs in plenty of time for Pesach…whenever it falls.
She also sent out the following report this past week.
Palm trees grow the fruit called dates. It is the last of the seven species. There is very little in the scriptures that offer me a timing concerning what biblical month the dates should show up in. Other than they are listed in last place so I know they are the final harvest.
And the ancient biblical palm trees, just as the ancient biblical grapes, no longer grow in Israel.
However, we have seen with the older grapevines in the gardens of residences that they will have the first stripe (firstfruit) ready in time for the anniversary of the destruction of the Temples. (aka the 9th of Av, biblically speaking the 5th month and the 9th day)
Now, the palm tree has several varieties of dates and they are not all ready at the same time. Not all date varieties grown in all areas of Israel either. The Cadillac of dates, medjool, only grows in the south, but these are a newer species anyway.
I’m pointing all of this out to now mention the very old post card I posted with the correct barley and wheat shown in the 7 species. This was a rare find. So, for now, I’m leaning towards looking at the yellow dates as were in the old post card of the 7 species.
With that said, the current condition of these yellow dates is that they are nearing time to harvest. Currently, they are still as an apple with a bite and crunch, as you will see they are eaten in this manner because they’ve shown up on the produce isle. These yellow dates are the first to hit the market every year. But the bible speaks of honey, or the date syrup/honey and not the fruit. Sometimes it is like being a detective in the scriptures to figure these things out. Considering that, these dates are not ready for a harvest according to biblical standards of dripping honey, but we are getting close
These dates are called (תמר צהוב) tamar tz’hav or yellow dates

Yom Teruah is mentioned in the following biblical passages:

Lev 23:23-25 “And YHVH spoke unto Moses saying, Speak to the Children of Israel saying, In the Seventh month on the first of the month will be a day of rest (Shabbaton) for you, a Remembrance Shouting, a holy convocation. You shall do no work and you will bring a fire sacrifice to YHVH.”

Nu 29:1-6 “And in the Seventh month on the first of the month will be a holy convocation for you; you shall do no work, it will be a Day of Shouting for you.”

Yom Teruah FAQ

Q: What about Leviticus 25:9?

A: Some people have argued that Yom Teruah should be considered New Years because it is the beginning of the Sabbatical year. However, the Torah does not say that Yom Teruah is the beginning of the Sabbatical year and all indications are that the Sabbatical year begins on the 1st day of the First Month. The Torah does say the following:

“And you shall pass a shofar of blasting in the Seventh Month on the tenth of the month; on the Day of Atonement you shall pass a shofar throughout all your land.” (Lev 25:9)

This verse is saying that a shofar should be used for a special announcement in the Jubilee year, the 50th year in the Sabbatical system. It does not say that the Jubilee begins on the Day of Atonement only that the Shofars are to be blown in the Jubilee year on the Day of Atonement in the 7th month of the Jubilee Year. This is a very special event that takes place at this time. The connection of the Feast of Trumpets and the Ten Days of Awe until the Day of Atonement are all connected to the meaning of the 50th Year Jubilee and what it means.

Q: Isn’t the Seventh Month the beginning of the agricultural cycle?

A: In the Torah, the middle of the Seventh Month is actually the end of the agriculture cycle, specifically of the grain cycle. In the Land of Israel, grains are planted in Autumn and harvested in Spring. The new agricultural cycle would not actually begin until the plowing of the fields. This would not take place until the first light rains which moisten the ground enough to be broken by iron and wooden plows. In the Land of Israel, this could be as early as the middle of the Seventh Month but is usually in the Eighth Month or later. By the above logic, the Eighth Month should be considered the beginning of the year, not the Seventh Month.

Once this Feast is declared then and only then can we know when the rest of the Fall Holy Days will be. Or in another sense, once the events of the Feast of Trumpets take place then we should be able to know when the dates are for when those events for the other Holy Days are to happen.

Lev 23:24  Speak to the sons of Israel saying: In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, you shall have a sabbath, a memorial summons, a holy convocation.

Lev 23:25  You shall do no work of labor but you shall offer a fire offering to Jehovah.

Once we know when the Day of Trumpets is, the day no one knows, then we can count Ten Days to the Day of Atonement.

This week we are going to look at these ten days and show you things about this teaching you will not have considered. Especially in Prophecy.

On the 9th of Av or the 9th day of the 5th month the curse was given to Israel to wander in the wilderness for 40 years before being allowed into the Promised Land.

This is very significant. 50 Days later using the month as a 29 day month would bring you to the Feast of Trumpets. 20 Days for the remainder of the 5th month and 29 for the 6th month.

The Feast of Trumpets and the day of Pentecost and The Jubilee year are all related in the meaning and importance thereof. And for that matter so is The Eight Day.

Let’s take a quick look at each one again.

Shavuot, the Feast of Pentecost;

Exo 19:15  And he said to the people, Be ready for the third day. Do not approach a woman.

Exo 19:16  And it happened on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mountain. And the voice of the trumpet was exceedingly loud, so that all the people in the camp trembled.

Exo 19:17  And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with God. And they stood at the lower part of the mountain.

Exo 19:18  And Mount Sinai was smoking, all of it, because Jehovah came down upon it in fire. And the smoke of it went up like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly.

Exo 19:19  And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and became very strong, Moses spoke, and God answered him by a voice.

Exo 19:20  And Jehovah came down upon Mount Sinai, on the top of the mountain. And Jehovah called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.

The Feast of Trumpets depicts nothing less than the return of Yehshua to the earth to establish the Kingdom of Yehovah! The book of Revelation reveals a sequence of earth-shaking events heralded by angels sounding a series of seven trumpet blasts.

Rev 11:15 And the seventh messenger sounded, and there came to be loud voices in the heaven, saying, “The reign of this world has become the reign of our Master, and of His Messiah, and He shall reign forever and ever!”

Actually, the word “trumpet” does not appear in this verse. The phrase “trumpet blasts” translates a single Hebrew word, teruah, which means a loud, resounding noise—a great shout or blaring, or an awakening blast. This was the sound of a “trumpet,” but not the metal, musical kind also used by the Israelites.

So this Feast is properly called Yom Teruah or Day of Shouting.

So notice that at Shavuot there were trumpets blasting and at the Feast of Trumpets also.

On the Feast of Trumpets, the nations of the world gather to war with the Messiah.

Zec 14:1  Behold, the day of Jehovah comes, and your spoil shall be divided in your midst.

Zec 14:2  For I will gather all nations to battle against Jerusalem; and the city shall be taken, and the houses plundered, and the women raped. And half of the city shall go into exile, and the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

Zec 14:3  And Jehovah shall go out and fight against those nations, like the day He fought in the day of battle.

Zec 14:4  And His feet shall stand in that day on the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall divide from its middle, from the east and to the west, a very great valley. And half of the mountain shall move toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

Joe 3:2  I will also gather all nations and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat. And I will fight with them there for My people and for My inheritance Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and divided My land.

Joe 3:13  Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, come down; for the press is full; the vats overflow, for their wickedness is great.

Joe 3:14  Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision; for the day of Jehovah is near in the valley of decision!

Zep 3:8  Therefore wait for Me, says Jehovah, for the day I rise up to the prey; for My judgment is to gather the nations, for Me to collect the kingdoms, to pour on them My fury, all My hot anger. For all the earth shall be burned up with the fire of My jealousy.

Rev 16:13  And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

Rev 16:14  For they are spirits of demons, working miracles, which go forth to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that day, the great day of God Almighty.

Rev 19:19 And I saw the beast, and the sovereigns of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to fight Him who sat on the horse and His army.

Paul also shows us that the entire earth waits for this very day. And you will notice that he uses the term firstfruits; Another reference to Shavuot.

Rom 8:19  For the earnest expectation of the creation waits for the manifestation of the sons of God.

Rom 8:20  For the creation was not willingly subjected to vanity, but because of Him who subjected it on hope

Rom 8:21  that the creation itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

Rom 8:22  And we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now.

Rom 8:23  And not only so, but ourselves also, who have the firstfruit of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, awaiting adoption, the redemption of our body.

The Jubilee (Hebrew Yov-el ) year is the year at the end of seven cycles of Sabbatical years (Hebrew Shmita), and according to Biblical regulations had a special impact on the ownership and management of land in the territory of the kingdoms of Israel and of Judah. The English term Jubilee derives from the Hebrew term yobel (via Latin Jubilaeus), which in turn derives from yobel, meaning ram. The Jubilee year was announced by a blast from a ram’s horn called a shofar, on Yom Kippur in that 50th year.

The shofar was used to announce holidays (Psa 81:3 Blow the ram’s horn at the time of the New Moon (Feast of Trumpets), At the full moon (Passover and Sukkot), on our festival day. ), the Jubilee year (Lev. 25. 9), and to tear down walls in Jericho. They walked around Jericho seven times the same as Bride walks around her husband seven times during the wedding ceremony. The first day of the seventh month (Tishri) is termed “a memorial of blowing” (Lev. 23. 24), or “a day of blowing”

(Num 29:1 ‘And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you have a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work, it is a day of blowing the trumpets for you.), the shofar. They were for signifying the start of a war (Josh. 6. 4; Judges 3. 27; 7. 16, 20; I Sam. 8. 3).

As you study this day of Yom Teruah keep in mind how it relates to the other Holy Days and the Jubilee years.

Many of us have come out of Christian faiths and realized the many lies we were taught there. We then jump into the other ditch of Judaism as we seek our Hebraic roots. Then after a while we again see the things that Judah does that can`t be supported by scriptures.

Then some of you want to throw out everything Jewish. Please do not throw out the baby with the bathwater. There are some awesome teachings to be found in Judaism who have been keeping Torah for some 3399 years since the Exodus while we, the northern Ten lost tribes have been keeping every pagan tradition we could find.

Now that we are returning and rediscovering our true roots, we must sift through it all and keep that which is good.

One such teaching is The Ten Days of Awe. These are the days between Yom Teruah and Yom Kippur.

Days of Awe

Level: Basic

Significance: A time of introspection
Length: 10 Days (including Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur)
Customs: Seeking reconciliation with people you have wronged; Kapparot
The ten days starting with Rosh Hashanah and ending with Yom Kippur are commonly known as the Days of Awe (Yamim Noraim) or the Days of Repentance. This is a time for serious introspection, a time to consider the sins of the previous year and repent before Yom Kippur.

One of the ongoing themes of the Days of Awe is the concept that G-d has “books” that he writes our names in, writing down who will live and who will die, who will have a good life and who will have a bad life, for the next year. These books are written in on Rosh Hashanah, but our actions during the Days of Awe can alter G-d’s decree. The actions that change the decree are “teshuvah, tefilah and tzedakah,” repentance, prayer, good deeds (usually, charity). These “books” are sealed on Yom Kippur. This concept of writing in books is the source of the common greeting during this time is “May you be inscribed and sealed for a good year.”

Among the customs of this time, it is common to seek reconciliation with people you may have wronged during the course of the year. The Talmud maintains that Yom Kippur atones only for sins between man and G-d. To atone for sins against another person, you must first seek reconciliation with that person, righting the wrongs you committed against them if possible.
Another custom observed during this time is kapparot. This is rarely practiced today, and is observed in its true form only by Chasidic and occasionally Orthodox Jews. Basically, you purchase a live fowl, and on the morning before Yom Kippur you wave it over your head reciting a prayer asking that the fowl be considered atonement for sins. The fowl is then slaughtered and given to the poor (or its value is given). Some Jews today simply use a bag of money instead of a fowl. Most Reform and Conservative Jews have never even heard of this practice.

Work is permitted as usual during the intermediate Days of Awe, from Tishri 3 to Tishri 9, except of course for Shabbat during that week.

Two lesser special occasions occur during the course of the Days of Awe.

The Shabbat that occurs in this period is known as Shabbat Shuvah (the Sabbath of Return). This is considered a rather important Shabbat.

I want you to take special notice of what this article says; that these 10 days are the Days of Repentance and that This is a time for serious introspection.

Why?

The answer is found in of all places Lev 26 where we read about the curses for not keeping the Sabbatical years. Amazing. This was a shocker to me to see this.

Lev 26:33  And I will scatter you among the nations, and will draw out a sword after you. And your land shall be waste, and your cities waste.

Lev 26:34  Then shall the land enjoy its sabbaths, as long as it lies waste, and you are in your enemies’ land; then shall the land rest and enjoy its sabbaths.

Lev 26:35  As long as it lies waste it shall rest, because it did not rest in your sabbaths when you lived on it.

Lev 26:36  And on those of you that are left I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies. And the sound of a driven leaf shall chase them, and they shall flee as if fleeing from a sword. And they shall fall when none pursues.

Lev 26:37  And they shall fall on one another, as if it were before a sword, when none pursues. And you shall have no power to stand before your enemies.

Lev 26:38  And you shall perish among the nations, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.

Lev 26:39  And they that are left of you shall putrefy in their iniquity in the lands of your enemies. And also they shall putrefy with them in the iniquities of their fathers.

The first curse of Terrorism, the second curse of Drought and severe weather, the third curse of pestilence and famine and earthquakes, the fourth curse of war plague and famine, and the fifth curse of captivity are all declared to you in verses 14-39.

But now we are about to read something. Yehovah says that if we repent and are humbled and we accept our punishment, then and only then will He remember us and not destroy us. Read this very carefully.

Lev 26:40  If they shall confess their wilfulness and the wilfulness of their fathers, with their sin which they sinned against Me, and that also they have walked contrary to Me,

Lev 26:41  I also will walk contrary to them and will bring them into the land of their enemies. If then their uncircumcised hearts are humbled, and they then pay for their iniquity,

Lev 26:42  then I will remember My covenant with Jacob, and also My covenant with Isaac, and also My covenant with Abraham I will remember. And I will remember the land.

Lev 26:43  The land also shall be forsaken by them, and shall enjoy its sabbaths, while it lies waste without them. And they shall accept the punishment of their iniquities; because, even because they despised My judgments, and because their soul hated My statutes.

Lev 26:44  And yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I hate them, to destroy them utterly and to break My covenant with them. For I am Jehovah their God.

Lev 26:45  But for their sakes, I will remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, so that I might be their God. I am Jehovah.

We read the very same thing when Solomon asked the dedication prayer when the Temple was first finished.

1Ki 8:29  for Your eyes to be open toward this house night and day, toward the place of which You have said, My name shall be there; to listen to the prayer which Your servant shall pray toward this place.

1Ki 8:30  And You shall listen to the cry of Your servant, and of Your people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place, and hear in Heaven Your dwelling-place, and when You hear, forgive!

1Ki 8:31  If any man sins against his neighbor, and if an oath is laid on him to cause him to swear, and if the oath comes before Your altar in this house,

1Ki 8:32  then hear in Heaven, and do, and judge Your servants, to declare the wicked to be wicked, to bring his way on his head, and to declare the righteous to be righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.

1Ki 8:33  When Your people Israel are crushed before the enemy because they have sinned against You, and shall turn again to You and confess Your name, and pray, and cry to You in this house,

1Ki 8:34  then hear in Heaven and forgive the sin of Your people Israel, and bring them again into the land which You gave to their fathers.

1Ki 8:35  When the heavens are restrained, and there is no rain because they have sinned against You, if they pray toward this place and confess Your name, and turn from their sin when You afflict them,

1Ki 8:36  then hear in Heaven and forgive the sin of Your servants, and of Your people Israel, for You shall teach them the good way in which they should walk, and give rain on Your land which You have given to Your people for an inheritance.

1Ki 8:37  If there is famine in the land, if there is plague, blasting, mildew, locusts; if there are stripping locusts; if their enemy encircles them in the land of their cities, whatever plague, whatever sickness,

1Ki 8:38  any prayer, any supplication from any man of all Your people Israel, who shall each know the plague of his own heart, and shall spread forth his hands toward this house,

1Ki 8:39  then hear in Heaven Your dwelling-place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to all his ways, whose heart You know. For You, You only, know the hearts of all the sons of Adam.

1Ki 8:40  Do this so that they may fear You all the days that they live in the land which You have given to our fathers.

1Ki 8:41  And concerning a stranger who is not of Your people Israel, but who comes out of a far country for Your name’s sake;

1Ki 8:42  for they shall hear of Your great name and of Your strong hand and of Your stretched-out arm; and if he shall come and pray toward this house,

1Ki 8:43  hear in Heaven Your dwelling-place, and do according to all that the stranger calls to You for, so that all the peoples of the earth may know Your name, to fear You, as Your people Israel do , and that they may know that this house which I have built is called by Your name.

1Ki 8:44  If Your people go out to battle against their enemy, wherever You shall send them, and shall pray to Jehovah toward the city which You have chosen, and the house that I have built for Your name,

1Ki 8:45  then hear in Heaven their prayer and their cry, and maintain their cause.

1Ki 8:46  If they sin against You (for there is no man who does not sin), and if You are angry with them, and have delivered them up before the enemy, and they have been led away captive to the land of the enemy, far or near,

1Ki 8:47  yet if they shall think within themselves in the land where they are carried captives, and repent, and pray to You in the land of their captors saying, We have sinned and have done perversely, we have done wickedly,

1Ki 8:48  and so return to You with all their heart, and with all their soul, in the land of their enemies who led them away captive, and if they pray to You toward their land which You gave to their fathers, to the city which You have chosen, and the house which I have built for Your name,

1Ki 8:49  then hear their prayer and their cry in Heaven Your dwelling-place, and maintain their cause,

1Ki 8:50  and forgive Your people who have sinned against You, even all their sins which they have done against You, and give them pity before their captors, so that they may have pity on them.

1Ki 8:51  For they are Your people, and Your inheritance, which You brought out of Egypt, from the middle of the furnace of iron,

1Ki 8:52  for Your eyes shall be open to the prayer of Your servant, and to the prayer of Your people Israel, to listen to them in all that they call for to You.

1Ki 8:53  For You have separated them from among all the people of the earth to be Your inheritance, as You spoke by the hand of Moses Your servant, when You brought our fathers out of Egypt, O Lord Jehovah.

When we find ourselves surrounded by the plagues that beset us then we are to stop and turn and face towards Jerusalem and pray for forgiveness with earnest hearts.

This is exactly what Daniel did, and the resulting revelations were amazing.

Daniel’s Prayer for His People

Dan 9:1  In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, who was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans,

Dan 9:2  in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, understood the number of the years by books, which came of the Word of Jehovah to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.

Dan 9:3  And I set my face toward the Lord God, to seek by prayer and holy desires, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes.

Dan 9:4  And I prayed to Jehovah my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and awesome God, keeping the covenant and mercy to those who love Him, and to those who keep His commandments,

Dan 9:5  we have sinned and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from Your commandments and from Your judgments.

Dan 9:6  Neither have we listened to Your servants the prophets, who spoke in Your name to our kings, our rulers, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.

Dan 9:7  O Lord, righteousness belongs to You, but to us the shame of our faces, as it is today to the men of Judah and to the people of Jerusalem, and to all Israel who are near and who are afar off, through all the countries where You have driven them because of their sin which they have sinned against You.

Dan 9:8  O Lord, shame of face belongs to us, to our kings, to our rulers, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against You.

Dan 9:9  To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against Him.

Dan 9:10  We have not obeyed the voice of Jehovah our God, to walk in His Laws which He set before us by His servants the prophets.

Dan 9:11  Yea, all Israel has transgressed Your Law, and turned aside, that they might not obey Your voice. Therefore the curse has been poured out on us, and the oath that is written in the Law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against Him.

Dan 9:12  And He has confirmed His Words which He spoke against us and against our judges who judged us, by bringing on us a great evil. For under all the heavens it has not been done as it has been done to Jerusalem.

Dan 9:13  As it is written in the Law of Moses, all this evil has come on us. Yet we did not make our prayer before Jehovah our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand Your truth.

Dan 9:14  Therefore Jehovah has watched over the evil, and has brought it on us. For Jehovah our God is righteous in all His works which He does; for we did not obey His voice.

Dan 9:15  And now, O Lord our God, who have brought Your people out from the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and have brought fame to Yourself, as it is today, we have sinned, we have done wrong.

Dan 9:16  O Lord, I pray You, according to all Your righteousness let Your anger and Your fury be turned away from Your city Jerusalem, Your holy mountain. Because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and Your people have become a curse to all those who are around us.

Dan 9:17  And now, O our God, hear the prayer of Your servant, and his holy desires, and cause Your face to shine on Your sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord’s sake.

Dan 9:18  O my God, bow down Your ear and hear. Open Your eyes and behold our ruins, and the city which is called by Your name. For we do not present our prayers before You on account of our righteousnesses, but because of Your great mercies.

Dan 9:19  O Jehovah, hear; O Jehovah, forgive; O Jehovah, listen and do. Do not delay, for Your own sake, O my God; for Your city and Your people are called by Your name.

Gabriel Brings an Answer

Dan 9:20  And while I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin, and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my cry before Jehovah my God for the holy mountain of my God;

Dan 9:21  yes, while I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, touched me in my severe exhaustion, about the time of the evening sacrifice.

Brethren it was when I was caught in sin and I saw it and only when I repented of it and confessed it and cried out to Yehovah for help and forgiveness; then and only then were things revealed to me. First was the revelation of the sighted moon as the calendar we are to follow. Second were the Sabbatical years, and third was the Prophecies of Abraham.

Had I not repented I would never have been shown any of this. Had Daniel not repented and asked for forgiveness for all of Israel, Yehovah would not have sent the angel to tell him some of the greatest prophecies of the bible.

During these ten days of Awe; from the time of the judgement begins on the world on the Feast of Yom Teruah, we should seek to humble ourselves and repent of all the evil that we do against Torah. You want to seek forgiveness before the books are sealed on the Day of Atonement.

Knowing these things now, step up to the next higher level of understanding.

The Ten Days of Awe are not days but years. These are ten years of judgement on the world. Israel has already been judged and will be destroyed in the Sabbatical cycle of war from 2017-2023. Israel all 12 tribes go into captivity together as Hoshea 5:5 tell us by the end of this Sabbatical Cycle.

Hos 5:4  Their doings will not allow them to turn to their God; for the spirit of fornication is in their midst, and they have not known Jehovah.

Hos 5:5  And the pride of Israel testifies to his face. So Israel and Ephraim shall fall in their iniquity; Judah also shall fall with them.

Hos 5:6  They shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek Jehovah; but they shall not find Him. He has withdrawn Himself from them.

Hos 5:7  They have acted treacherously against Jehovah, for they have brought out strange sons. Now a new moon shall devour them with their portions.

Now while both houses are in captivity and are suffering the horrors of decapitation, sexual enslavement for women and children and young boys, cannibalism beatings and starvation, freezing cold and blistering heat with no place to call home that is safe; it is while in this state enduring the punishments for her sins that Yehshua stands up and begins to judge the world who did this to His bride.

These ten years of judgement are on the rest of the world. The first seven come while Israel is in captivity during the Sabbatical cycle of captivity from 2024-2030.

During those Ten Days of Awe there is always a Shabbat that comes at some point. It is called Shabbat Shuva and it falls on the Sabbath that comes between the Feast of Trumpets and the Day of Atonement.

It is during the years of captivity that the two witnesses come on the world scene and demand the Beast to release all the Israelite captives. Much like Moses and Aaron did in Egypt. After three years of drought around the world and ¼ of the earth’s population dying; only then are all the Israelites released and brought back to the Land of Israel. And they all arrive by Passover 2030.

2030 just so happens to be the Sabbatical year at the end of the 5th Sabbatical cycle.

Here is when the martyrdom of the saints begins. Satan has allowed all the Israelites to be brought back to Israel for one reason and one reason only. To get them in one spot to completely kill them all off.

This is when the two witnesses are killed at Passover and this then is the beginning of the last 3 ½ years of the Great Tribulation. Up until this point, we have only been following the Sabbatical cycle and their curses.

Now the last 3 ½ years end just as it did in Noah’s Day and also in Sodom’s day. They both concluded in the middle of this 6th Sabbatical cycle which also matches when the Day of Atonement comes at the end of these ten years. That year is 2033.

And it is on The Day of Atonement in 2033 that Satan will finally be bound and cast into darkness for the 7th millennium.

Shabbat Shuva is the Shabbat between Rosh Hashana, The Feast of Trumpets and Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. It is called Shabbat Shuva after the Haftara from Hoshea 14 which reads:

“Shuva Yisrael – Return, O Israel, unto Hashem your G-d.”

During these days we are obligated to do teshuva, to repent. In fact, some people call this Shabbat Tshuva since it is the Shabbat of the Ten Days of repentance. It is customary in all congregations for the Rabbi to give a sermon calling upon the people to repent before Yom Kippur. He also reviews the laws of Yom Kippur.

And this is what each of us needs to do at this time of year as we approach the Day of Atonement.

Haftorah Shuva
Hoshea 14:2-10; Yoel 2:11-27; Micha 7:18-20

This Shabbos is known as Shabbos Shuva – the Shabbos of Return because the Haftorah begins with the words, “Shuva (Return) Yisroel to G-d” Gleaned from both Hoshea and Yoel, the prophets describe G-d’s desire to forgive His children, if only they will repent. The fast of Yom Kippur is mentioned as well as the rewards awaiting us if we proclaim G-d in our midst.
The Shabbat that occurs in this period is known as Shabbat Shuvah (the Sabbath of Return). This is considered a rather important Shabbat.

Hos 14:1  O Israel, return to Jehovah your God, for you have fallen by your iniquity.

Hos 14:2  Take with you words, and turn to Jehovah. Say to Him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously, that we may repay with the calves of our lips.

We are to return to Yehovah and when we do we are to bring the Torah Scrolls with us.

Joe 2:11  And Jehovah shall utter His voice before His army; for His camp is very great; for strong is He who does His Word. For the day of Jehovah is great and very terrible; and who can stand it?

Return to the Lord

Joe 2:12  Yet even now, says Jehovah, turn to Me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning.

Joe 2:13  Yes, tear your heart and not your robes, and turn to Jehovah your God: for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and He pities because of the evil.

Joe 2:14  Who knows if He will turn and have pity and leave a blessing behind Him, a food offering and a drink offering to Jehovah your God?

Joe 2:15  Blow a trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn gathering.

Joe 2:16  Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, gather the elders, gather the children and those who suck the breasts. Let the bridegroom go forth out of his chamber, and the bride out of her room.

Joe 2:17  Let the priests, the ministers of Jehovah, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Have pity on Your people, O Jehovah, and give not Your inheritance to shame, for a proverb among those of the nations. Why should they say among the people, Where is their God?

The Lord Had Pity

Joe 2:18  Then Jehovah will be jealous for His land and pity His people.

Joe 2:19  Yes, Jehovah will answer and say to His people, Behold, I will send you grain, and wine, and oil, and you shall be satisfied with it. And I will no more make you a curse among the nations.

Joe 2:20  But I will remove the northern army far from you, and will drive him into a barren and deserted land, with his face toward the eastern sea and his rear toward the western sea. And his stench shall come up, and his ill odor shall come up, because he was doing great things.

Joe 2:21  Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice. For Jehovah will do great things.

Joe 2:22  Do not be afraid, beasts of the field; for the pastures of the wilderness grow green; for the tree bears its fruit, and the fig tree and the vine yield their strength.

Joe 2:23  Be glad then, sons of Zion, and rejoice in Jehovah your God. For He has given you the former rain according to righteousness, and He will cause the rain to come down for you, the former rain and the latter rain in the first month.

Joe 2:24  And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.

Joe 2:25  And I will restore to you the years which the swarming locust has eaten, the locust larvae, and the stripping locust, and the cutting locust, My great army which I sent among you.

Joe 2:26  And you shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of Jehovah your God, who has dealt with you wonderfully; and My people shall never be ashamed.

Joe 2:27  And you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am Jehovah your God, and no one else; and My people shall never be ashamed.

Mic 7:18  Who is a God like You, who pardons iniquity and passes by the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not keep His anger forever, because He delights in mercy.

Mic 7:19  He will turn again; He will have pity on us. He will trample our iniquities. Yea, You will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

Mic 7:20  You will give faithfulness to Jacob, mercy to Abraham, which You have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.

During the next 13 years, you and I will be living through these 10 days of Awe. What generations have been practicing and not understanding why you are now going to experience and know first hand why we are to fast and pray for repentance. Why we must study the Torah and know it so we can Know Him. The 2300 Day Count has begun. IT will be followed by the Two Witnesses in just 6 years’ time who causes it not to rain for 3 1/2 years. Then the Great Tribulation which concludes with Satan being locked up for the coming 7th Millennium.

Everything we should have been studying all our lives is now coming to pass. Yehovah has called you. Not everyone else but you for this end-time work. Are you going to increase what He has given to you five times or two times and are you going to do nothing and sit on what you know?

The Feast of Trumpets is the start of this special time to humble ourselves before Yehovah. The Ten Days of Awe conclude with Satan be shut away.

The Thousand Years

Rev 20:1  And I saw an angel come down from Heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand.

Rev 20:2  And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him a thousand years.

Rev 20:3  And he cast him into the abyss and shut him up and set a seal on him, that he should deceive the nations no more until the thousand years should be fulfilled. And after that he must be loosed a little time.

Rev 20:4  And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the witness of Jesus and for the Word of God, and who had not worshiped the beast nor his image, nor had received his mark on their foreheads, nor in their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Rev 20:5  But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Rev 20:6  Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. The second death has no authority over these, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with Him a thousand years.

Like many of the Spring Feasts, the Fall Feast days have more than one event happening on that Holy Days. Pentecost had The Ten commandments and the Holy Spirit. This first go around the world is judged and Satan bound a thousand years. The second one books are opened and the people judged. But there is a third event for Pentecost also known as Shavuot. Those of us alive will be changed to spirit beings at this time. The Dead in Christ will be raised up and we will meet Him in the air. This too takes place in 2033. Blessed and Holy is he who has a part in the first resurrection at this time. That can be you and it is just 13 years away.

Judgment Before the Great White Throne

Rev 20:11  And I saw a great white throne, and Him sitting on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And a place was not found for them.

Rev 20:12  And I saw the dead, the small and the great, stand before God. And books were opened, and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Rev 20:13  And the sea gave up the dead in it. And death and hell delivered up the dead in them. And each one of them was judged according to their works.

Rev 20:14  And death and hell were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death.

Rev 20:15  And if anyone was not found having been written in the Book of Life, he was cast into the Lake of Fire.

The Ten Days of Awe begin on the world in just 4 years time. But Israel will be in the process of being utterly destroyed before that time. There is much to do to get ready. And it all starts with sincere repentance and returning to the Torah.

Joseph, if satan is bound at the Day of Atonement is 2033, then what happens between 2033 and 2044?
