After last week’s News Letter I expected the worst and I was sent the following emails endorsing those things I had said in calling out all Messianic leaders and those following them. I want to thank those who took the time to write and thank me. To those whom my email seems, say a bit harsh, I would reply, my desire to not only to teach the truth according only to YHVH’s Word, but also to save as many lives before it is too late. You do not go into a fire to save people’s lives by being pleasant and soft spoken when the house is about to crumble, you need to shout as loud as possible  to get their attention while they sleep. If their smoke detectors are not going to raise the alarm, well then you get what I wrote.

You will surely be blessed for this week’s newsletter. I don’t have much time for reading and studying after looking after a three year old 13 hours a day. I do manage to get in several hours a week though. I have been praying about some of the scriptures on the Sabbath year and you have put them in a concise form for my reference. For that I thank you. I will be going to your books and scripture again and of course, to Yah in prayer.

There is an older couple here in Saskatoon who was new to Torah study about the same time I arrived here three years ago. In the past several months I have been able to share information on the Sabbath year with them and they are preparing to keep it with me. They have many questions and I have given them your website, a copy of the 2016 book and referred them to your newsletter. They have declared they will NOT follow a man, only Yeshua. We have discussed many things together.

Another very young couple has approached me in the last couple of months as well. The first time I visited the wife, Holly, the first thing out of her mouth was, “So tell me about the Shemita”. I just about fell over because I wasn’t even aware that she knew I knew about it. This couple went out about a month ago and purchased their supplies for the year and a half that we will be keeping the Sabbath year.

I am very excited about these two couples and we will all be helping one another during the time of the Sabbath year. I am planning to have them meet each other and perhaps we will have some teachings on what you are teaching me. I am very encouraged by this and hope that you are too. I know we all need to be uplifted by one another from time to time. Joseph, your hard work and research have helped two more couples. Praise God for His mercy on us! May you be blessed as you move forward and help other people.

You answered many questions for me regrading ‘other teachers’ e g Cahn, Biltz and Rood.
I too have learned many things from them, but couldn’t understand why I haven’t heard them speak of the Sabbatical and Jubilee years. I had thought that the teacher at the group we used to go to, was the only person saying ‘we don’t live in the land therefore we don’t have to do the land rest’ but I can see from your newsletter that it’s a BIG problem out there. I could see that his line of teaching was going to bring us full circle back to Christianity, keeping the 10 commandments, saved by grace, put your feet up, there’s nothing left to do! Arg!!!

I will pray that hwhy  will open their eyes, remove that delusion and bring them to repentance and that they will correct their teachings.  Each teacher that is not teaching the truth of how to make t’shuba (return to the covenant) is misleading people and doing them a great disservice; thereby causing them to choose the curse, all because they weren’t taught how to choose the blessing and protection of Yahuah. Deuteronomy 30:15-19. Not making a choice…. IS making a choice!

Deu 32:39 “See now that I, yes, I, am he; and there is no Elohim beside me. I put to death, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal; no one saves anyone from my hand!”

Joseph I’m also praying that hwhy will send you to Australia. With this email I invite you to Brisbane. Maybe it’s years until hwhy  will answer but He said 1Jn 5:14 “This is the confidence we have in his presence: if we ask anything that accords with his will, he hears us.”

I feel very encouraged by your trip to the Philippines. Praise hwhy , He is mighty!  It is my hope that one day you and I will have a conversation about you coming to Brisbane, Australia. But in the meantime, may hwhy  give me courage to share what I know with anyone who will listen.

This is a strongly worded newsletter. Please read to the end to discover Joseph’s heart. I agree with all his assessments and conclusions. If you don’t read it all you have no basis to criticize, since you don’t know what he is saying. Same goes for all his books. Joseph has done all the research and presents it as just that, research. I have been greatly edified by the research he presents. Please pay particular attention to Numbers 35:34. It reverses all the teachers who teach we only obey when in the land. Unless you are not a Son Of Elohim, then you can obviously believe whatever or whoever you choose.

“Next Step in LGBT Human Rights”

Dear Brethren, this weeks News Letter upsets me. I have just had my 4th grandchild and in doing this weeks News letter I have come once again to the realization of just how sick our world is and just how much we need it all destroyed and to begin the 7th Millennium with a righteous ruler. That will be King David as prophecy tells us.

I have for some time now been warning people about the coming anti discrimination of Pedophile laws that will be passed. We said it in the Philippines many times. We also warned those in the Philippines that if they passed the SOGI laws – the Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity Laws – otherwise known as LGBT laws, that soon after these laws were passed then they would also have to pass laws that allowed people to marry their animals and have sex with them. Then they would also have to allow pedophiles to marry children otherwise we would be discriminating against them.

Here is a story of a woman from Holland who was married to her cat and now that the cat has died, she wants to marry her dog. Oh yes, the cat was her husband for the past 16 yeas.

A woman has revealed that she is planning to marry her dog following the death of her former husband, who was a cat.
Dominique Lesbirel, 41, from Holland, married her pet cat Doerack eight years ago but sadly, the animal had to be put down after suffering kidney failure aged 19.

Now we have this June 27, 2015 article which starts out as follows.

Using the same tactics used by “gay” rights activists, pedophiles have begun to seek similar status arguing their desire for children is a sexual orientation no different than heterosexual or homosexuals.

Critics of the homosexual lifestyle have long claimed that once it became acceptable to identify homosexuality as simply an “alternative lifestyle” or sexual orientation, logically nothing would be off limits.

And just this week, the New York Times reported…. will I do not know how to say this without getting very angry. So I will let you just read the opening paragraph.

CHICAGO — Federal education authorities, staking out their firmest position yet on an increasingly contentious issue, found Monday that an Illinois school district violated anti-discrimination laws when it did not allow a transgender student who identifies as a girl and participates on a girls’ sports team to change and shower in the girls’ locker room without restrictions.

It would seem that all those with zero common sense have become our authorities and there are no longer any morals.

Do genetics determine morality?

A major argument of the homosexual lobby is that same-sex attraction is genetically determined — that people are born homosexual. Because that is the case, the argument follows, then if you say homosexuality is wrong, you are as hateful and bigoted as if you were condemning someone for their skin color.

Homosexual activists decry any effort to change someone’s sexual orientation as morally reprehensible (reprehensible, that is, if it is a change toward heterosexuality — I have never heard them argue that it would be wrong to persuade a heterosexual to become homosexual). After all, how can you try to change someone from his genetic destiny? They believe that the morally right thing is a full, unrestricted expression of that supposed inborn tendency.

Well, if genetics do determine morality, that notion has some serious implications.

Today’s homosexual special interest juggernaut started as a small movement. Now, there is another small movement that is growing stronger—a movement that wants to extend this same kind of morality-is-genetic argument to a new group of people: pedophiles. People who are sexually attracted to children.

Michael L. Brown, author of the book A Queer Thing Happened to America, wrote this in the Christian Post: “[S]ome psychiatric leaders who were instrumental in removing homosexuality from the American Psychiatric Association’s list of mental disorders in 1973 have been fighting to remove pedophilia as a disorder as well, not to justify the abuse of children but rather to say that being sexually attracted to children is not a mental disorder” (September 28).

Here is the leading paragraph of this book. Forty years ago, most Americans said they didn’t know anyone who was homosexual and claimed to know little or nothing about homosexuality. Today, there’s hardly a sitcom without a prominent gay character, movies like Milk and Brokeback Mountain have won Oscars, and even People magazine celebrated the marriage of Ellen Degeneres and Portia DeRossi. A Queer Thing Happened to Americachronicles the amazing transformation of America over the last forty years, and addresses the question head-on: Is there really a gay agenda, or is it a fiction of the religious right? Written in a lively and compelling style, but backed with massive research and extensive interaction with the GLBT community, this forthright and yet compassionate book looks at the extraordinary impact gay activism has had on American society. This could easily be the most controversial book of the decade. Read it and find out why the publishing world was afraid to touch it.

“ Many Researchers Taking a Different View of Pedophilia” the Los Angeles Times reported on Jan. 14, 2013. “Pedophilia once was thought to stem from psychological influences early in life. Now, many experts view it as a deep-rooted predisposition that does not change.”

“Scientists at the [Center for Mental Health and Addiction in Toronto] have uncovered a series of associations that suggest pedophilia has biological roots,” the Times reports, adding that more and more people are taking the view that pedophilia is “a sexual orientation as immutable as heterosexuality or homosexuality.” It quotes a man who was arrested for child pornography saying that a court ordered him to go to therapy. “‘These people felt they could snuff out the desire, or shame me into denying it existed,’ he said. ‘But it’s as intrinsic as the next person’s heterosexuality.’”

In his book, Michael Brown documents how the main arguments that have successfully normalized homosexuality are now supporting the normalization of pedophilia.

 

The Christian Post report lists eight of them:

1) Pedophilia is innate and immutable; people are born this way and cannot change.
2) Pederasty is richly attested in many different cultures throughout history.
3) The claim that adult-child sexual relationships cause harm is greatly overstated and often completely inaccurate.
4) Consensual adult-child sex can actually be beneficial to the child.
5) Pederasty should not be classified as a mental disorder, since it does not cause distress to the pederast to have these desires and since the pederast can function as a normal, contributing member of society.
6) Many of the illustrious homosexuals of the past were actually pedophiles.
7) People are against inter-generational intimacy because of antiquated social standards and puritanical sexual phobias.
8) This is all about love and equality and liberation.

Look again at each of those arguments and replace pedophilia or pederasty with homosexuality. This is exactly the line of reasoning that has successfully normalized and vaunted homosexuals.

You might think, that practice could never become legal, let alone popular. But in 2005, how many people thought they’d ever see the White House bathed in the colors of the homosexual flag?

With pedophilia, however, there is a twist to the argument. It isn’t simply, We’re born this way, so don’t judge us. They add this: And don’t worry — we’re not a threat to your children.

This is the argument that appeared in a September 21 Salon.com article headlined, “I’m a Pedophile, But Not a Monster.” The author, a man named Todd Nickerson, wrote:

I’ve been stuck with the most unfortunate of sexual orientations, a preference for a group of people who are legally, morally and psychologically unable to reciprocate my feelings and desires. … Yet, I’m not the monster you think me to be. I’ve never touched a child sexually in my life and never will, nor do I use child pornography.

In still another example, this past Sunday’s edition of British paper the Independent contained an article by a prominent psychologist, Dr. Glenn Wilson. The title: “Not All Pedophiles Are Bad People-We Need to Have a Sense of Proportion.” The article reads:

In my studies of the Pedophile Information Exchange in the 1980s, many members admitted sexual feelings for children, which they had been able to contain or turn to social good. Some gravitated toward occupations such as schoolteacher or social worker, where they could enjoy the company of children without plotting abuse. … It is possible to be attracted to children as a sexual orientation without acting upon those desires.

So, in this man’s view, these feelings can apparently be turned to social good. This psychologist spoke to the Telegraph, and said that “pedophilia should be viewed as a type of ‘sexual orientation’ which is not necessarily acted upon” (emphasis added).

Ask yourself: Does the idea that pedophiles won’t necessarily act on their desire to have sex with children comfort you? Would you support a pedophile who wants to be your child’s teacher or social worker so he can “enjoy the company of children”? Does it reassure you that “it is possible” to be attracted to children without acting on that?

This Salon.com article is aimed at helping you sympathize with a celibate man who is attracted to children. But even he says that anyone who acts on those feelings is a “monster.” The psychologist in Britain says everything is okay because pedophiles probably won’t prey on children.

But think about this: IF genetics determine morality, then why would it be wrong for a pedophile to gratify his desires?

How does it make sense to label a “born that way” pedophile who fulfills his desires a “monster” — but then to say that a “born that way” homosexual should fulfill his desires and even marry, because he was “born that way”?

As Selwyn Duke recently wrote,

Today, mainly due to the effort to legitimize homosexuality, the notion that “it’s okay if I was born that way” has taken hold. Often articulated as “God doesn’t make mistakes,” it’s rhetorically very effective. Of course, whether an atheist who considers the world naturally flawed or a theist believing it supernaturally fallen, cleft lip, Spina bifida, Down syndrome, club foot, Tay-Sachs disease, and other abnormalities make clear that God’s perfection isn’t enjoyed by man. And is it logical to consider the brain the one organ immune from this imperfection? Note also that the same psychologists telling us homosexuality is innate also say that psychopaths are born and not made. Now, if some people were born with homicidal instincts, would it be alright for them to commit murder?

You do need to read this article.

Consider the views being expressed in these articles in conjunction with other recent events. Think about the fact that American soldiers in Afghanistan have been ordered to ignore their Afghan “allies” who sexually abuse young boys, even on American military bases — supposedly in the name of “cultural sensitivity.” Add to that, authorities in Britain ignoring Muslim child sex–trafficking for similar “politically correct” reasons. Add to that the “pedophile epidemic” in Hollywood, exposed this past summer in the film An Open Secret. These are people with enormous social influence.

Watch the trajectory of what is happening here. The homosexual movement has completely changed modern culture in less than a decade. People now accept and support practices they were completely opposed to just a few years ago.

Now, this issue is tracking the exact same direction. It’s a trend you need to understand, and frankly, to protect yourself and your children from.

In truth, if it is wrong to condone pedophilia despite some people supposedly being born with it, then it is also wrong to justify homosexuality for that reason.

You can’t have it both ways. Either genetics determines morality or it doesn’t.

And the truth is — IT DOESN’T.

Here’s another thing to ask yourself. This new wave of activists is trying to get us to sympathize with those who have romantic feelings for children but do not act on them.

Do you really think that’s ALL they are trying to do? Just to feel compassion for celibate pedophiles? If you think that is where this trend is going to stop, wake up. You know absolutely nothing about this group of people.

Here are the links for what is going on in Hollywood. Urge you to watch but be ready to be upset at our world today.

In our home fellowships bible study it was brought to my attention last Sabbath, about what Ishmael did with Isaac.

Gen 21:8  And the child grew and was weaned, and Abraham made a great feast the day that Isaac was weaned. 9  And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian (whom she had borne to Abraham) mocking. 10  And she said to Abraham, Cast out this slave woman and her son. For the son of this slave woman shall not be heir with my son, with Isaac.

This word mocking is the Hebrew word;

H6711 qjx   tsa?chaq     tsaw-khak’

A primitive root; to laugh outright (in merriment or scorn); by implication to sport: – laugh, mock, play, make sport.

This does not explain this mocking correctly.

Read the scriptures where this same word is used in the bible. Here Potiphar’s wife is saying that Joseph was going to have sex with her. Her word is to sport.

Gen 39:13  And it happened when she saw that he had left his robe in her hand, and had fled, 14  she called to the men of her house and spoke to them, saying, See, he has brought in a Hebrew to us to sport with us. He came in to me, to lie with me, and I cried with a loud voice.

Gen 39:17  And she spoke to him according to these words, saying, The Hebrew servant which you have brought to us came in to me to sport with me.

Now when the children of Israel sinned they were not raising up to play but were having sex early in the morning.

Exo 32:5  And when Aaron saw, he built an altar before it. And Aaron made proclamation and said, Tomorrow is a feast to Jehovah. 6  And they rose up early on the next day and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings. And the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.

And here in this next verse we have Isaac sporting with his wife. This word sporting is caressing his wife.

Gen 26:8  And when he had been there a long time, it happened that Abimelech king of the Philistines looked out through the window, and saw; and behold! Isaac was caressing Rebekah his wife.

As we have just read above Ishmael was molesting Isaac when Sara caught them and this is why he and his mother were banned and kicked out of Abraham’s household. This is maybe why this was so evil in Abraham’s sight. What Ishmael did.

Even today all you have to do is check the internet sources. Islam is ripe with young boys being molested and sexually abused by grown men. In fact while in Afghanistan the US military was told to turn a blind eye to such abuse by pedophiles. The practice is called bacha bazi, literally “boy play,” and we have written on this before in our newsletter.

We do have a new update from the Itellectual Conservative. I do urge you all to read this short concise article. The USA has a liberal government in place. In Canada we have just elected in a landslide vote a Liberal Federal Government and in Ontario we have a Liberal Provincial Government led by a Lesbian premiere. Her first job as our new premiere was to change the sex education for kids in kindergarten and the lower grades, explaining to them about alternative lifestyles and sex.

We have been telling you since 2005 that Islam is going to rule the world for a time in the last days. We have told you that the 4th beast is the King of the North combined with the King of the South. We have told you how this 4th beast of Daniel is going to trample under foot the whole world. And we have told you how Isaac blessed Esau giving him dominion in the last days. This word dominion is to trample underfoot as the does the 4th beast power.

Now maybe you can understand what Joel was prophesying. This young boy was not being traded for a prostitute, no the boy was being sold to BE THE PROSTITUTE!

Joe 3:3  And they have cast lots for My people, and have given a boy for a prostitute, and sold a girl for wine, so that they might drink.

We are even told in Obadiah that it is going to be Islam or Edom that is going to be taking part in this casting of lots for these people. Ask yourselves why they cast for lots. Why not just buy them? Is it not because the demand is so great that they have to have lotteries to see who can buy them, much the same way we do today of having lotteries for moose hunting licenses?

Oba 1:11  On the day of your standing on the other side, on the day that the strangers were capturing his force, and foreigners entered his gates and cast lots for Jerusalem, even you were like one of them.

Even in Revelation at the end of this age they will be selling souls on the open market and will be mourning the fact that this practice will be stopped. They lusted after these things is what is being said here.

Rev 18:10  standing afar off for fear of her torment, saying, Woe! Woe to the great city, Babylon, that strong city! Yes Brethren, people wonder why I am so zealous to have people begin to keep the Sabbath, the Holy Days and the Sabbatical years. These are the mark of Yehovah upon those of us who do them. Those who do not have this mark subject themselves to the coming ravages of war where men will be able to do whatever they want with whomever they choose. I have now 4 young grandchildren. They will be around 10 years old by the time the captivity cycle begins. All young children and women will be used for sex objects during this coming war and captivity cycles, unless they are protected by Yehovah.

From Iraq is the story of one the Yazidi girls who was sold as a sex slave to some men. She was about 7 years old. They raped her over and over again because she was a virgin. And virgins are special. They raped her so bad for so long that her private parts were all shredded like hamburger. So they sent her to the medical clinic where she was sown back up and when she healed they sold her as a virgin to another bunch of men who then again raped her repeatedly. I could tell you many more stories that have come out of all the Islamic warring nations in the past few years.

Look at your daughters and your sons…..look at your grandchildren. Then close your eyes and do nothing, if you can. Or think about them and pray without ceasing and then work without stopping to warn everyone you can from now until Messiah comes and puts a stop to this. We have elected these people who will call evil good and good evil. The USA is about to bring in 250,000 Islamic Syrian “Refugees”. Canada is going to bring in 25,000 by December 2015. We are now about to reap this curse for rejecting Yehovah. You must warn those you love and keep doing it.

Our nations have chosen the gay tree of good and evil and is now about to reap the results of this. Time is up for this age.

Make sure you and your family keep the Sabbatical year in 2016 starting at Aviv. Do not let anyone talk you out of it. Just do it and pray Yehovah has mercy on those of us trying to obey.

“Russia and the Middel East”

This week I wanted to address those things that Russia is doing and causing in the Middle East. Some are claiming this is the start of the Gog Magog War. Is it? I question those who teach such things.

Rev 20:1  And I saw an angel come down from Heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. 2  And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him a thousand years. 3  And he cast him into the abyss and shut him up and set a seal on him, that he should deceive the nations no more until the thousand years should be fulfilled. And after that he must be loosed a little time. 4  And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the witness of Jesus and for the Word of God, and who had not worshiped the beast nor his image, nor had received his mark on their foreheads, nor in their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5  But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6  Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. The second death has no authority over these, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with Him a thousand years. 7  And when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be loosed out of his prison. 8  And he will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle. The number of them is as the sand of the sea. 9  And they went up over the breadth of the earth and circled around the camp of the saints, and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of Heaven and devoured them. 10  And the Devil who deceived them was cast into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet were . And he will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

The Gog Magog war that is going to come does so at the end of the 7th Millennium against Israel with all her wealth that she will have at that time. So I do not see Russia whom I believe to be Gog, attacking now. And Magog I believe to be China.

So what is going on now in the Middle East and how is Russia affecting prophecy?

We have this very interesting prophecy in Zechariah that we all need to pay attention to.

Zec 5:1  And I again lifted up my eyes and looked. And behold! A flying scroll. 2  And he said to me, What do you see? And I answered, I see a flying scroll; its length is twenty cubits, and its width ten cubits. 3  And he said to me, This is the curse that goes forth over the face of the whole earth; for from now on everyone who steals shall be cut off according to it; and everyone who swears from now on shall be cut off according to it. 4  I will bring it forth, says Jehovah of Hosts; and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him who swears falsely by My name. And it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall devour it, and its timber and its stones. 5  Then the angel who talked with me went forth and said to me, Now lift up your eyes and see what this is that goes forth. 6  And I said, What is it? And he said, This is the ephah that goes forth. And he said, This is their form in all the earth. 7  And behold, a lead cover was lifted up, and a woman was sitting in the middle of the ephah. 8  And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah. And he cast the lead stone over its opening. 9  And I lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, two women came out. And the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork. And they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heavens. 10  And I said to the angel who talked with me, Where are they going with the ephah? 11  And he said to me, To build a house for it in the land of Shinar; and it shall be established and set there on its own base.

Megillah, also spelled Megilla, Hebrew Megillah (“Scroll”), plural Megillot,  in the Hebrew Bible, any of the five sacred books of the Ketuvim  (the third division of the Old Testament), in scroll form, that are read in the synagogue in the course of certain festivals. The Song of Solomon (Song of Songs) is read on the sabbath of Passover week, the Book of Ruth on Shavuot, Lamentaions of Jeremiah on Tisha be-Av, Ecclesiastes on the sabbath of the week of Sukkoth, and the Book of Esther on Purim.

A Megillah is a book that rolls up into a single scroll. Our Torah, the first five books are two scrolls for each one. But a Megillah is one single scroll.

The 20 Cubits in length is 20 X 20.6 inches = 412.08 inches. We then divide this by 12 to get 34.34 Feet for the height.

The word ‘width’ is circumference. To get the circumference you must take the 10 Cubits and divide it by pie. 10 x 20.6 dived by 3.142 = 65.64 which you must now divide by 12 to get the footage which is 5.47 feet.

This flying scroll is then 34.34 feet tall by 5.5 feet round.

You can see the two rockets used to lift this missile into the air. These are the two ish or women of Zechariah.

While most ‘Scud’ missiles now carry conventional explosives, the ‘Scud’ was originally developed to carry a 50 kT nuclear warhead. The SS-1B ‘Scud A’ (Russian designation R-11) entered into service in 1955 as a short range nuclear weapon to attack western Europe and was intended to carry a nuclear 50 kT yield warhead. The high explosive (HE) warhead was developed for export to other communist countries in the Cold War whom the Soviet Union was leery of giving nuclear strike capabilities.

The ‘Scud A’ was soon replaced with the SS-1C ‘Scud B’ The new missile had the advantage of being compatible with a transporter-erector-launcher (TEL) and could thus be deployed quickly and covertly. The TEL has built-in test equipment and is able to aim and fire the missile autonomously, though a separate command and control vehicle typically controls the targeting and firing. Aboard a TEL, a typical ‘Scud B’ takes approximately one hour to finish a single launch sequence.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]We also read in Zechariah the following;

Zec 5:10  And I said to the angel who talked with me, Where are they going with the ephah? 11  And he said to me, To build a house for it in the land of Shinar; and it shall be established and set there on its own base.

This should cause you to ask the question, where is the land of Shinar?

 Shinar (Hebrew runc Šin?ar ) is a biblical geographical locale of uncertain boundaries in Mesopotamia. The name may be a corruption of Hebrew Shene neharot (” two rivers”), Hebrew Shene arim (“two cities) or Akkadian Shumeru or Summer.

This location of Shinar is evident from its description as encompassing both Babel (in northern Babylonia) and Erech (Uruk) (in southern Babylonia).  In the Book of Genesis 10:10, the beginning of Nimrod’s kingdom is said to have been “Babel [Babylon], and Erech [Uruk]  and Akkad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.” Verse 11:2 states that Shinar enclosed the plain that became the site of the Tower of Babel after the Great Flood. After the Flood, the sons of Shem Ham and Japheth, had stayed first in the highlands of Armenia, and then migrated to Shinar.

In Genesis 14:1,9, King Amraphel also known as Nimrod rules Shinar.

Knowing what Zechariah says then, it is stunning to know that Israel twice has destroyed Nuclear facilities in this same Shinar area.
